FAQs

Is this for beginners or intermediates?
We cover all ability levels inside the membership program. There are different curriculums for beginners (Music Production 101) and those who already have some experience (Music Production 201). Different mentors also cater to different skill levels.
Is this for any specific genres?
No, what you're going to learn is totally agnostic to the genre of music. It's understanding the underlying foundational principles of music production that's important. Once you do that, you have the building blocks for any genre or type of music.
What DAW is this for?
It doesn't matter — the techniques you use are the exact same in all DAWs. You'll be able to follow along regardless of which DAW you use. Inside the course library you will find courses for all the major DAWs to help you get started.
How do the mentor calls work? Where are they hosted?
The mentor calls take place on Zoom. The Zoom sessions are open for anyone to join, but you can only speak to the mentor if you have booked a 15-minute slot. When your slot comes up, the mentor will unmute you and begin your session. You can also listen in to these mentor calls as they happen throughout the day.
How many mentor check-ins do I get per month?
You get one 15-minute check-in per month with a mentor. These check-ins don't roll over, and you have to use them each month. We do this to create accountability and make sure you're frequently speaking with a mentor who can check your progress.
How do I cancel my membership if I change my mind?
You can cancel your membership at any time at the click of a button. If you're on a free trial you can cancel any time before the first payment if you don't want to continue.
How is this different to The Reverse Engineer?
The Reverse Engineer is totally separate and none of that curriculum is included in the membership. The main curriculum inside this membership is our Music Production 101 program, plus Music Production 201 which builds on these skills at an intermediate/advanced level.
